The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) consists of nine colleges overseen by a seven-member board of trustees, who are elected officials. A chancellor is appointed to manage the daily operations of the district. The district's current budget stands at $10.2 billion. The Academic Senate, which represents over 4,000 faculty members, has passed a Resolution of No Confidence in the Board of Trustees and Chancellor in preventing public corruption, and Taking Effective Actions to Combat Sexual Harassment, and Discrimination.
